All goods are supplied in accordance with the following Terms and Conditions.
It is not possible to cover every single eventuality below, so please be assured that all of our policies are customer-centred and that we are - within reason - mistake tolerant. Our basic and central policy is to treat and serve you as we would wish to be treated and served ourselves.
MINIMUM ORDER
There is no minimum order.
The shipping of small orders will be subject to reasonable behaviour - customers who place several orders, each a few days apart, for small amounts may find that their orders are held pending further purchases or simply refunded. We ask you to help us to continue to provide free shipping for everyone by pre-planning your requirements.
We reserve the right to refuse any order without giving a reason for so-doing. Such orders will be refunded in full.
VAT
All of the prices on our website include Vat at the current rate - the price you see on screen is the TOTAL price that you will pay - there are no hidden extras. A VAT invoice will be included in with your parcel.
PRICES & DISCOUNTS
The price that you see on screen, at the time that you place your order is the price that you will pay. The on-screen price includes VAT and flat-rate delivery. All of our prices are subject to change (both down as well as up!) without notice - this is because when we re-stock, we re-price as necessary - we will always offer the best price that we can, and if we can drop a price then we will - and without making a song and dance about it.
Our multi-pack size incremental pricing structure means that every product is heavily discounted at the largest pack size - we only sell our products at the extremely competitive prices advertised on this website - our largest pack sizes are effectively our wholesale prices - we are sorry but we never discount over and above those prices.
SHIPPING
Standard shipping is FREE to all UK destinations - there are no hidden terms to this policy - but for further details and enhanced shipping options please see our separate FAQ dedicated to shipping and dispatch.
DISPATCH
Orders placed and paid for in full by midday will be dispatched same business day, Monday-Friday. Orders placed and paid for after midday will be dispatched next business day. Business days are Monday-Friday.

Please make sure that your delivery address is correct!!!! We like it best when you go overboard on address details. If your parcel is returned to us as "cannot be delivered" because you have given us incorrect or incomplete information then your order will be refunded - but we will first deduct the costs we have incurred sending the parcel out to you and also a 20% handling fee to cover the time spent picking, packing, unpacking and re-stocking your parcel.

You do not need to have, or to create, an account to shop with us.
PROCESSING OF ORDERS
All orders are processed strictly in the order that they are received. Phone orders do not take priority, and there is no way to jump the order queue - it just would not be fair on everyone else. All orders received and paid for in full by midday are dispatched same day - we are geared up to make sure that this happens.
ADDING TO AN EXISTING ORDER
For your security we do not hold, or have access to, your card details. If you have forgotten to add something to your order, you will need to place another order. We get lots of multiple orders! As routine we always check for multiple parcels to the same address, and where multiple orders are received in a single time period (midday-midday) then, whenever possible, those orders are combined into a single parcel.
HELP US TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU
We will contact you after you place your order to a) confirm the receipt of the order b) to confirm dispatch and to advise you of your tracking number (if applicable). To do this we need you to give us a valid email address. Sometimes we may need to contact you about your order for some other reason. Again we will need a valid email address. A telephone number is also extremely helpful. Please help us to give you the best possible service by allowing us to be able to get hold of you if we need to.
PRIVACY
We will absolutely not share your email address, telephone number, billing address or mailing address with anyone else. Not ever. However, to process your card payment your name, billing address and other contact details will be used by the online card merchant to verify your identify and to check the validity of your card. This should be viewed as both necessary and advantageous.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept credit and debit cards online and over the telephone via the card merchant provider Worldpay. We also accept payments via Paypal. You do not have to have an existing paypal account to shop with us and pay by Paypal.
Both Paypal and Worldpay use industry standard SSL encrypted servers - transactions with us via either Worldpay or Paypal are as secure as can be and are also hassle free. On checkout you will be transferred from our site to theirs and they will collect your payment on our behalf.
We accept payments by bank transfer - to do this you need to instruct your bank to transfer the money from your bank account to our bank account. Our account is in the name of "The Silver Corporation" its details are: sort code 20-53-04, account number 80626821, account held at Barclays. Transfers take around 3-4 working days to complete. You will need to contact us to let us know that you have transferred the money to us.
We accept payment by postal orders for orders completed via our website only. You must checkout, selecting "pay by direct transfer" to do so. The Postal order should be sent to "The Silver Corporation Ltd, 483 Green Lanes, London, N13 4BS". You must include your order number, a print out of your order and a valid email address. If we cannot easily trace your order / you, the postal order will be destroyed. You should allow at least 2 weeks from the time of sending the postal order to us to your parcel being dispatched.
We DO NOT accept cheques or bankers drafts except by prior agreement, and only then if the order exceeds £100. Any cheque sent to us without such prior agreement will simply be destroyed.
We DO NOT accept cash under any circumstances.
We also DO NOT accept orders sent to us via email, via hand-written letters etc. All orders must be placed via our website.
REFUNDS
All of our products are covered by our no-quibble refund policy. We understand that purchasing products from photographs is tricky! If you wish to return any item to us then simply send it back to us at your convenience - along with a photocopy of your invoice - and we will refund you the price that you paid for it, in the same way that you paid us - on receipt. You will not need a returns number nor do you need to give us prior notice, however please note that without a copy of your invoice we will not be able to refund you.
If you return your entire order - or the majority of it (calculated by value) - then we reserve the right to deduct from your refund the post and packing costs and charges we incurred sending that order out to you at the following rates: standard first or second class shipping £1.25, recorded delivery £2.50, special delivery £6.
EXCHANGES
We are sorry but we do not exchange goods. This is because exchanges can get very complicated extremely quickly, and there is usually a price differential which is time consuming and expensive for us to process. We find that the easiest way to proceed is for us to simply refund you for unwanted items, thus allowing you to order the items that you think would be more suitable without having to worry about price similarities.
ORDERING OVER THE PHONE
We are sorry but we do not accept orders over the phone. All orders must be placed via our website.
TIME SENSITIVE PARCELS
If you order is urgent and must arrive by a certain day there is only one way to ensure that this happens and that is to pay for Special Delivery. To help you to meet your order commitments we charge only £4 for this service, which is less than it costs us. For same day dispatch your order must be with us, Monday-Friday by midday latest. To achieve this you should aim to have completed checkout by not later than 11.50am.
First class mail is in theory a next day service and indeed the majority of parcels do arrive next day. However, it is important to realise that the service is not guaranteed and that the Royal Mail would not consider a first class item as lost until 15 working days - ie 3 whole weeks! - have elapsed.
PRINTED CATALOGUE
We are sorry but we do not produce one - for one very good reason - it would be out of date before it even left the printers - this is because we are constantly adding new items to our range and altering our prices so that we can give you the very best deal that we can.
